Greenwich Park

Took a walk down to Greenwich

Wanted to see how they were doing the pre-Olympics equestrian venue in the park. The raked seating up against the hill looks very impressive, but there is loads of other temporary stuff around that gets in the way. The arena takes up most of the most popular part of the park, so - not surprisingly - there are lots more people on the lawns by the National Maritime Museum.

The cross-country track is fenced-off, which actually means that it is quite difficult to get from the main road to the west side of the park. I ended-up pushing through the barriers where they crossed a path that the map claimed was not closed.
